Walk into the shop at 114 Edds Lane and you’ll likely find Kay Hwang at the bench, shears in hand. She is Countryside Florist’s owner and head designer, and every arrangement that leaves the studio is tied by hand.

Her artistry is Korean-influenced, blending traditional form with a modern eye: clean lines that still feel wild, structure that never reads stiff. It’s a style you notice most in the quiet details — the way a stem leans, the space left deliberately empty, the single branch that finishes a composition.

From the bench, the work goes out the door — to homes, hospital rooms, businesses and venues across Sterling, Herndon, Vienna, Fairfax, Reston, Ashburn, Leesburg, Chantilly and beyond.
